Short bio

I’m a 56-year-old multi-instrumentalist and songwriter based in Myrtle Beach, SC, with more than 30 years on drums, guitar and vocals. A lifelong student of songcraft, I wrote the submission you’re hearing for this contest and can turn out new, emotionally honest songs every day. While I currently run four companies, I’m determined to devote the next chapter of my life entirely to music. I’d be honored for American Songwriter to hear my work — I bring decades of musical experience, a relentless work ethic, and songs that connect.
